The developers over at Kismet Wireless just released an packet capture app for Android devices that lets you use an external USB wireless adapter to capture layer 2 wireless LAN traffic and store in pcap format. How cool is that? The best part is, they’ve also built a handy CloudShark Uploader for Android as well!
When you have performed a capture using Android PCAP, you can then use the Android Cloudshark Uploader to directly upload your captures from your Android device to CS Personal SaaS or your own CloudShark Enterprise. When the Uploader is installed, you will see a CloudShark option under the Android “share” function, just as you would share other files such as pictures. The CloudShark Upload option will also appear in most Android file managers.
You can obtain both the Kismet Android PCAP and CloudShark Uploader Apps for free through the Google Play store.
